Hey guys/gals. I recently bought an S4 13BT shortblock to build up. I'm in no hurry to get it done, so I'm still just contemplating various things. But basically I would like to make 300 hp from it.

What I am thinking of doing is streetporting it and going carb. I know a lot about blowthrough carb setups and know that they are not easy to tune. They are also quite finiky, so I would like to know what I need to do if I want to go with an EFI setup. Like I said, I only have a shortblock, that means no computer, no injectors or anything like that. So, what I need to know is what do I need to buy? Whats the cost going to be like? Any info or opinions on getting 300 hp out of my engine is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

BTW, it will be going in my 82. I know my 12a tranny can't take the power, but will a TII tranny take it?
