I need some help on a banjo bolt install. Yes i searched.
Hi everyone, sorry to bring up another banjo bolt install but i had a question related to the fitment of the hose that i couldnt find by searching. I ordered this part:
http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...=egnsearch.asp
and it has the red screw on deal for the hose. What do i need to do so that the rubber hose clamps or attaches on to this unit? Or is there something else ive got to do in order to get the hose on it? As you can tell im new at this, ive got the general idea on it but need a little guidence. If yall who have done this before can shed some light on it for me id greatly appreciate it. Thanks everyone

its hard to see it from the picture of the product on thier website, but the only part your using from that is the part that looksl ike a bolt ...
not the red metal part, but the bolt head looking thing ... you basically remove it from that piece you ordered, and screw it directly into the fuel rail where the PD was
make sense?

I vote with Fitness Stain--you don't need the red fitting. You just need to run the new banjo bolt through the existing inlet fitting on the rail (i.e., unscrew the damper, and screw in the new banjo bolt (using crush washers)).
