I need some electrical help!

Ok, I have a few electrical problems with my 87 T2, and needed a little bit of help.

Problem 1. My “CIGAR” fuse doesn’t work properly. It seems loose because if I stick the fuse in at a slight angle it will spark and work. Clock comes on. But of course this wont last driving around. Right now I have it jumpered with a wire with two spade connectors hooked into it (big no no but hey it’s hot and I need AC). Anyway I pulled the fuse block out as best I could but couldn’t get it all the way out. Is there a connector for the wires that come in from the top of the box? I want to figure out how to replace the connector so I can get a good link with the fuse.

Problem 2. How the hell do I get my dome light to work properly? Never seems to want to work for any length of time. Same thing I can “jiggle it” and it will work but never for long. I wrapped one of my bulbs with wire and then did a quick solder job to hold it on, to make the diameter of the bulb bigger and it worked like a champ. But I don’t want to band-aid I want it fixed. Any Ideas??

Problem 3 How do I remove the pins from the ECU wiring harness? I would like to do a better job of connecting my SAFC by soldering then heat shrinking it, but of course the heat shrink won’t fit unless the wire is out of the connector. I have a “Molex” pin remover, for similar types of connectors but it doesn’t work. So what will pop them out with out damage?

Any help would be appreciated.

#1 & #2, just rebend the fuse holders in the fuse box with a pick

#3, release the lock with a pick and slide the pin out through the rear of the plug
