I need some electrical guru help on my light switch.

heres the problem.

keep in mind my car in an S5!!!!

i recently had my headlight switch go out. dandy. i replace both the harness and the switch. however, the local mazda parts place only had s4 switches, so i purchased an s4 harness and s4 switch from them.

everything now works fine. probably too good now that my headlights will not shut off. is there a pin thats crossed or anything that i need to cross in order for this to get working? i dont have the old harness with me, but the schematic eludes me.

if i can just bypass the power wire to a switch, that would be AWESOME since i have better functioning FTP lenses now.

headlights wont turn off headlight power headlight switch
Put these here for the search to find this just in case.
