i need a new motor

so i started with a gxl.... blew the motor.... baught a jdm t2 motor(bad idea). blew that up like a week after it started. so now i am looking to either send the t2 motor off or just buy a rebuilt motor. i was looking on ebay and i found a fresh build 13b 4 port. it says "ready for NOS!" in the description which makes me think that its an na motor but i thought the 13b na motors were all 6 port. were the first gen 13b's 4 port? also this jdm motor i think detonated, there is no comp at all in the rear rotor. do you guys think the internals are trashed or are they reusable? i dont want to send off a short block at 250$ for shipping then have the guy tell me that the motor isnt rebuildable. any thoughts or suggestions?

ready for NOS!

lol, yea i would stay away from that seller, especially if he doesn't have build specs listed.

more than likely your Jspec now has a trashed rear rotor housing and rotor, the housings from Jspecs and USpec engines are not interchangable either so you would have to use both housings from your n/a and modify them to work and locate a good rotor for the T2 if you build it.

i don't believe the Jspecs had EGR so if emissions is an issue in your area then you will need to worry about not having the EGR. the fuel rails are interchangable, they just do not route the same way as the USpec rails but work fine.
