I need help please
Hey guys, can someone please help me with this? Ive had quite a few rotary rockets over the years, mostly Roxys, but a couple of dune buggys, etc. anyway, with that, ive trashed many good rotaries. But this is a new one on me. i have a 90 non turbo, and a while back i had to roll start it. when i let the clutch out the engine seized. well after about a month i went out and tried to start it and it turned over and fired. but the oil pressure was only about 20 pounds. so i drove it around my neighborhood and at about the 1 mile mark it started knocking. not spark knock, but like a piston with a spun rod bearing knock. I swear on my life i didnt even know they could do that. so what i am asking is, is my engine salvageable or is it trashed? can i make the knock stop? a friend said it could be a broken flywheel, and it sounds like its coming from the rear of the engine, but im stumped. Im so sick of these piston cars i wanna shoot myself, but right now theyre proving themselves more reliable so, please help me.

kay.. First, you need to read the first thread at the top in this section. The one that says, read this before you post.
Second, we need more information than "it makes a weird noise" to tell you what's wrong with the motor.
Third, let's get our information consistent. If the engine seized, it's not going to start turning again on its own. If the flywheel is broken, the starter will not start the car. A piston with a spun rod bearing knock sounds different on my CRX than it does on my buddy's sting ray.
Is it a broken flywheel? Go look. I'm not sure that's like... possible... but take a look. Then restate the question and you might get an answer after you retitle the thread.
