I need help on buying a non turbo!

What would you pay for a red 91 non turbo with 82,000 miles. Car is in fair condition. About two dents, cracked tailight, non working cd player. His asking price is 5,400? What should I offer? I know for 5g you can find a turbo. What would you offer?

No way for $5,600. I would say 3K-$3,500 sounds about right. But then again you will have member saying no more than 2K. I don't mind paying a little extra if I think it's worth it.

National average for 91 non turbo coupe:

Dealer trade in: $2,361
Private party $3,110
Dealer retail: $4,359

add $944 for low miles, subtract $500 the work needing to be done

Deals are def out there, not many people are with what RX7s are. People are afraid of they they do not under stand. I got S4 N/A with a 90k motor and a clean body for $1500, mostly becuase the guy wanted to put more money into his boosted 3rd gen slomaro and he coudn't figure out how to change the plugs on teh 7.

i was just wanting to get some suggestions. I'm looking at a 91 convertible, the guys asking 5500 but is negotiable. I test drove the car and it runs strong minus a vibration under full throttle. I put the car on a lift and noticed it has a good size oil leak and a transmission leak. I couldn't tell where they were coming from. Any ideas on what it would be worth? What do ya'll think is it worth it or should i save my money?
