I need help

I have an 89' rx7 s5. I recently had my motor rebuilt with a small streetport. The last week or two... It's developed a problem which has gotten worse. Between 1 and 4 grand... it has a studdering problem. Like a fuel shortage... but it runs rich. I just changed the spark plugs... could this be my fuel injectors? Any input is greatly appreciated.

New fuel filter... the injectors are from another 7 that didn't look all that good. So I think that might be the problem.... could it be the fuel pump though?

If it was a fuel pump problem it would start to choke out at higher rpms, but your problem is between 1-4k rpms. I runs fine over 4k, right?
