Well i just got my 1988 turbo 2 sort of running and i need help on finding out what its problems are. here is what its doing
1.Its starts ok form cold and it might ideal.
2.Once it is warm it will usually not restart off of the starter. It will just keep turning over. and if you hold it wide open it will kinda sputer but not start.
3.It will not ideal at all.
4.It seems like it has no power. especialy down low. as you pull throught the revs it kinda gets hung up around 4k. then pulls on up after that. No bottom end at all
5. It back fires alot. More on decel but just in general it will any time. seems like its running rich all the time.
6. smokes some times at cold start up and just occasionally.

well you need a timing gun prefer 2 cycle if you get one 4 cycle yost divide the # in 2 and that is your timin. Check the right timing i dont have idea wath is the timing.
