A tune-up, that's the best place to start! After that, intake/exhaust.

I say spend the money you can on getting the car running right and stock completely. Do this before you worry about mods, and you should ave yourself time, money and headaches later. Also, you need to let us know what it is you want to accomplish. What are you trying to get out of the car? will you run drags? road courses? drifting? or do you just want a daily driver with a little more power? you need to know what you want the car to do before you start talkin about mods. have a PLAN before you start droppin money everywhere. THEN, do a search in this forum for "beefy n/a"...that thread should have more than enough info for you.

Hey thanks, I kind of know what I want to do, I have had my car over the past summer, and I went to Spokane WA often to do auto cross and dragracing, so anything that would help me in those places. This probably sounds dumb, but I plan on keeping my exhaust split, so if you know of any exhaust systems for that it would be appreciated, and what kind of intake would anyone reccomend? Thanks again.

I believe it is undesputed here that "racing Beat" is coveted as the holy grail of Exhausts here..... expensive but well worth it, they now offer stainless steel.....they used to be painted black with chrome tips now the whole can is stainless! Get rb headers too..... Intake is a build your own status right now talk to santiago (1987rx7guy) he has a functional unit right now, ($200) but whatever you do get an APEXI filter they preform the best (better then k&N). Take your time and don't cheeap out, save your money and buy the best.... my thoughts...
