I need HELP

ok here are all the things wrong that need fixed
1)it won't hold idle anymore it just shuts right off
2)breaks which I can fix
3)power windows don't work anymore
4)floods I have been told this is common but I don't believe that who would buy a car off a lot that only starts half of the time? really how can I stop this?
5)what are apex seals and all the other things in a rotary engine? because I am BRAND new to these
6)coolant light stays on constantly but its full of coolant
7)I have been told that the oil is injected into the combustion chamber and I have read that it needs changed and I am very confused

If you could PLEASE give me just a whole bunch of info or come get this thing for like $600 i'de be happy if noone wants it I want to fix it Ijust need lots of help Thanks guys

Read the FAQ at the top of the page for some basic knowledge about rotaries. Alot of good links.

1)vacuum leak most likely. Also check the connection at the AFM (where the stock airbox is.) If it is loose/broken or the plug is not connected the car wont hold an idle or will have a crappy idle.

3)probably need to resolder the switch, check the plug or clean the contacts on the window switch

4)flooding is usually caused by leaking injectors or poor compression. Do a search on "unflooding procedure" I believe it is in the FAQ as well.

5)read FAQ

6)flush your coolant and properly bleed the system of air. Air in your coolant system can cause the light to come on intermittently.

7)If the stock OMP (oil metering pump) is working correctly oil is injected to help lubricate. Changing the oil religiously is vital to keeping the engine running proper and for a long time. It is also recommended that you change your oil and doing the unflooding procedure.

The search button is your friend.

EDIT: Do a full tune up while your at it to make sure everything else is running correctly especially before doing any mods.

Think of an apex seal as the same thing to a Rotary engine as a piston ring is to a piston motor.

ok well i started it today and it just ran around 1200 rpms for about 10 minutes and never acted up and didn't miss when i held it at 3000 then 4000 rpms and i never did ANYTHING under the hood its actually running better than when i got it but i now have to hold the gas in to get it to start. are my apex seals gone and I hav eno compression now? this is gonna be a BIG project and a rebuild should be starting soon
rotor power guys

If your apex seals were gone, you wouldn't have much of an engine to run. I like the comparison of the apex seals to o-rings on piston motors. Similar effect (not as destructive in the piston version, though).

I've got the same problem with the car not holding idle in my 89 Volvo. The problem is in the electrical system. My suspects, the MAF sensor, the idle air flow valve, or something electrical in between. The valve opens, then immediately closes, barely enough time for the car to start, if at all. Might be a faulty signal from something electrical between the MAF and the valve controller, because if the MAF died, the valve would go to all open (emergency get-home mode, I'm assuming the 7 would have one of these too).

Sorry for putting in a write-up on a Volvo problem, but I think it might be a similar problem, because sometimes it starts, holds idle, and runs like a champ. Other times, not as much.
