Let us know if you ever find one. I've been looking for an internal ECU schematic for years now. I'd love to map that thing out one of these days...

The factory manuals - fuel & emmissions section.
I have a copy at the link in my sig.
Download & print what you need.

Wayne - I think he's looking for the external hook-up information.
The internals are a mystery.
The Rtec guys know as much as anyone.
I have traced a little of the internals, to replace one of the darlingtons, when troubleshooting a NA Kouki aux port problem.
That's my limit.

External hookup info is in the factory service manuals (see FAQ stickie) and to a lesser extent, in the Haynes manual.

ok i checked out the service manual but it doesnt say which pin goes to where it either shows a generic flow or current from batt through ecu to whatever part...bassicaly i have the stock ecu and i had to cut all the crap off of it that went to the body such as ignition, fuel pump, fuses, ect...the two conectors for the engine harness have stayed intact but the third connector has been cut...if anyone knows where the wiring diagram is that would be great i need something that shows the ecu pins and what they go to

There is no wiring diagram for the series five online. There is a series five fsm that has the output/input of each pin on the ECU. It's located in the Fuel Section under CONTROL UNIT.

You really, really NEED the wiring diagrams and they can be bought seperatly from the fsm from MAZDATRIX for about forty bucks or so.

Again, the wiring diagrams that your NEED are not available online.

I might have something that can help you....

For some reason I ended up with an old FCON harness....

Basicly it is a harness that plugs into the stock ECU and then goes to the FCON and back into the engine harness.

So, it has the female plugs that go into the ECU.

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...hlight=harness

That thread has the pictures of it.

I can map the ECU schematic using the Huntron Scanner. But I have never personally seen the ECU schematic.

The S5 wiring diagram manual is not available online, but there's a perfectly good S5 ECU wiring diagram (with pin layout) on page F1-8 of the FSM's EFI chapter. The only thing missing is wire colours. There's also more ECU info on page F1-79.

If you want wire colours, you going to have to buy the wiring diagram manual.

My bad. I looked and indeed there is a workable diagram for series five on that page.

Did Hailers make a boo-boo? And NZ caught him, to boot...

It's gonna be another good day

You know, that's something we need to sticky- good scans of both the cars' schematics (the "important" ones, anyway). Get right on that, Wankel...

I don't have a scanner

And it would be weird because those pages in the book are fold out. Three page fold outs....

Pardon me for saying so, but your first answer on this thread was a bit,"WANTING". Now's your big chance to be a good sport and post all the series five shcematics.

I am on the road 10 days in a row and spend half of it in a hotel......

So, I am bored as hell....way too much.

Next time I am on the road.... I will take pictures of every single page in that book and host it up on photobucket or something....

Its a 91 book.

You know, I remember now that one of your guru traits is...

Posting up schematics and pictures on the threads!!! And, if I recall with clarity things that happened more than a day ago (not one of my strong suits), YOU have the neat-o color wiring diagrams for the S4s. Am I right? But of course...

Therefore, using discriminatory logic (mine), I nominate YOU (Hailers) to take on the Herculean task of scanning the wiring diagrams for our S4s, and we'll just have to find someone else to perform the same magic for the S5s.

I think this will be a monumental undertaking that will produce many happy returns. Just think of all the times I won't have to run out to my car to get the schematics to help someone out now
