Have you tried auto-interiors.com?
128.50 + around $20 for shipping. Very reasonable. I'd contact them first for pictures.

Id rather get my employee pricing at mazda and spend 1000 dollars to get a brand new carpet, and the job done right

I've heard that once before, just wasn't 100% sure about the quality. Unfortunately, you're right about the price of the Mazda OEM carpet. Apparently nobody else sells an aftermarket Rx7 carpet aside from ACC.
When I decide to finally get carpet, I don't want to get a used piece, so I'll probably have to get the ACC piece. I just saw Aaron's writeup on it and was wondering if there's any way to use a heat gun or something to further mold it, or if it can be cut and glued like house carpet for those really hard contours. I see that it comes with a poly backing, not a "woven" style like house carpet, so that may be a hurdle I'll have to overcome. And the "mass backing" option isn't something I'll be going for since I'll be installing some Dynamat or something similar for better heat reflection and sound dampening.
I've also never had the inconvenience of dealing with aftermarket carpets, so I can only imagine how far off their fitment is. All my customers at the dealership I worked at always got new OEM which obviously fit as intended.

you could just dye your current carpet.
I dyed mine and I get all kinds of compliments on how nice my carpet is, and asking where I got it. its original!
all you need to do is go to a fabric store and buy some blue and black fabric dye.
Find the biggest bin you can (I used my giant blue recycling bin) and fill it with as much boiling water as you can. The rest can just be "hot". but the hotter the better.
pour in the blue dye and stick the carpet in there. The blue helps form a better base color so you don't get a red tint to your carpet (or whatever color it used to be). Then try and keep the carpet completely submerged for a few hours or over night.
Repeat this process with the black dye after dumping the blue dye water.
Then dry your carpet for a few days. It took me a week to get all the moisture out from that foam padding underneath the carpet, and you don't want mold!
BACON! you now have brand new looking black carpet that will fit your car perfectly.
