i need 2 vacum hoses figuered out[89n/a]
yeah,i'm almost to the end of my seemingly endless project.a few hours away from startup[new rebuild].
what i need to know is this:there is 2 vacumm nipples on the 89'[s5]manifold i dont know how to hook up.the scematics are not helping in my haynes.i've done a s4 to s5 intake conversion,so no scematic on the hood.its the 2 that come out right below the sec. injectors..not the ones in the center abouve the acv,but off to each side.its the only ones around-cant miss'em.if someone could look on theyr s5 and tell me what they tie into,and where they hook up,i would be one happy camper.this is n/a,of course.thanks,guys!

the factory diagram will be better. go to www.fc3s.org, how-to, manual, 89-91, 4A nonturbo emissions and fuel controls, and check the diagram, there you will see where those go.

My car is a '91 NA. Probably the same layout.
Two nipples coming out of the runners just before lower manifold. They come straight out and then curve up and out. Correct??
If those are the ones, the nipple toward the front of the car connects with a long hose to the pressure sensor, and the back one is capped.

rotorhusker-actually,the ones you are talking about i've got figuered out.what i need is the ones directely below the fuel injectors.if you look at the 2nd. injectors[the upper ones],and you look about 1-2" below where they plug into the manifold,you will see a nipple comming straight out...those are the ones i need!
i'm gonna see if i can trace'em down at fc3s.org,like hypenty27 recommended,but if someone could check these out for me,that would be awesome!thanks again.

k, I just looked at my '90 N/A.
The one angled out near the front goes to the pressure sensor. The other 2 (there are 3) both have short (2-3") vac tubes going into a spyder.... the same spyder that eventually controls the 6-ports.
