I missed my FC!!

well, my FC has been sitting in my driveway since early november in the freezing cold weather collecting snow, rain and the occasional bird dropping. There's been so much foul weather on long island lately that it just doesn't seem like the right weather to go tooling around in my little faux racecar. SO, I've been doing all my driving in my Galant VR4, the ultimate daily driver...all wheel drive, the robust 4G63 motor and many many many comprehensive mods pushing out 300 on an AWD dyno. Unfortunately, my GVR4's alternator crapped out on friday night so I left it in the shop to be fixed on monday leaving the FC as my only transport...as soon as I fired her up and was sure all was well with coolant, oil and tire pressure I took her for a spin - OMG I MISS THIS CAR!! Sure, it's WAY too loud, smacks and bangs over all bumps and gets terrible mileage compared to the inline 4 turbo, but MAN is this thing fun!! Nothing compares to the way this car responds to steering input a nice set of coilovers, proper bracing and big sticky tires. So, this post is meant to honor my recently ignored FC - if anyone has more than one car I'm sure you know what I mean.

I know how you feel, but in my case I started fixing my car when I got it in Aug and haven't even drove it. I hate the NE weather with it snows and rain (my window and sunroof are leaking). At least you have a car to drive, my stupid beater died on me.

Hey there! My only ride seems to be my FC and I've had to endure this shitty weather on LI too.

ahhhhhhhh you may be the LI winner this year but i took that prize home last year hehe I rode on my staggered 17's w/ summer only tires, my stiff stiff stiff GC coilovers and -2 degrees of camber in front!! the bonus was that my mazdaspeed lip acted as a small snow plow through fresh powder it was rough, but my office is about 6 miles from home so it wasn't too bad though I had to take a bunch of personal days for snow where do u live?? I'm up for an LI meet or if anyone local just wants to grab some dinner on a friday night
