I just got my first FC VERT

I put the charged battery back in, unlocked the top on both sides(black tabs) then pushed the button on the pass part of the targa to unlock turned the key and pushed the button on the console to put the top down, and I just get a series of beeps from the back seat area any clue? am i doing something wrong? I have never had a vert before. Oh yah e-brake was on and she was in neutral

Well the e-brake has to be on(light lit on dash). The key must be in the running position, and the two latches must be undone. Then if all that is done and it still doesnt work check the fuse under the dash. If the fuse is good than either you have a bad connection to the motors or bad top motors.

Check the above posts.

Also, when I first bought my vert the motors for the top were actually disengaged and the previous owner thought they were bad. But you will be able to tell if they are disengaged because the top will move freely on and off.

Make sure your parking brake light is reading on, this would definetly cause the a quick series of beeps. If the top is lowering the beeps are slow and steady.

I just want to say thank you to everyone here

I will try all your steps you have given as of now the beeps are steady with a quick few at the end then it repeats if still holding the button i can barley even get daylight between the windshield and targa pushing pretty hard so im almost positive everything is hooked up just have to check the fuses and stuff thank you for everyones help hope she works.
