Are you sure you wired the switch correctly? I can't see how it could flood if the fuel pump is switched off. Here is how I use my switch:
Shut off the pump to kill the engine when parking (reduces residual pressure)

Start the car with the switch in the off position (there is enough pressure in the system to start the car if it has sit for more than a few minutes).

My car always starts within 5 sec. using the switch.

You might use new plugs if those have been fowled.

Dude!!! it is called fuel cut-off BUT it does not cut the fuel. It prevents the fuel from getting cut-off to the secondaries at 8.9 psi on a factory TII. It only allows you to run higher boost on factory cpu... Flooding is a diff. problem it might be a full time open injector... Have them cleaned or checked... Or maybe you are talking about something else... I am talking about this: It is found here: http://www.mazdatrix.com/d2.htm

He's referring to a switch for the fuel pump relay to stop the flow of fuel when you're trying to start it
