I hope I haven't f'd anythig up
Here I go, I have just changed over from regular antifreeze to evens I flush the system and blew all the water out of the heater core. Now when I start it up it gets the running temp faster but I do not have heat and the engine light is on. I only ran the car for a minute before I shut it off due to the engine light. HAVE I FUCKED ANYTHING UP or am I just impatient. PLEASE HELP

Well, you could jumper the green diagnosis wire next to the battery to the negative battery terminal and then turn the key to on, then see how many times your engine light blinks. I believe a solid blink for 3 secs means 10 and a regular blink is 1. You then match that up to the engine codes in the FSM and see what is wrong. Check out the engine section of the FSM.

See above advice about troubleshooting the engine light.
As for the lack of heat you probably have an air blockage in the heater core. Try pumping the rad and heater hoses while you fill the coolant.
