i have a question

DO you guys know why my car(rx-7 GTU) revs up to 1000rpm then sometimes dies out on me? Um i change all the vacuum hoses. i thought that was the problem but its still the same. after i start the car, it feels like its not burning any gas. everytime i start the car i always have to press on the accelerator because if i lefted it alone the motor would shake alot and go back up to 1000rpm.sometimes it would died out. i hope this is enough infomation. plz help m

So its fine if you hit the gas a little? If so, then your thermowax/cold idle adjust system could be bad.
