My S4 'vert is leaking brake fluid. From what I can tell, it's leaking from the master cylinder/booster area. Let me explain that: I had the car parked in my uncle's garage all winter, and when it came out, it had no brakes. I looked on the floor and inside the wheels for fluid leaks, and didn't see any. However, I noticed the paint on below the master cylinder/booster was trashed, and I know that brake fluid will destroy paint, so I put 2 and 2 together.
Before ordering parts I don't need and starting a major overhaul, are there any simple things I can replace? For example, is there a gasket between the booster and master cylinder that could be thrashed, causing my problem?
The brake problem is the only thing keeping me from driving the car, so any help is appreciated.

Yeah, I found that the little gasket between the booster and the MC on my 240 was annihilated and was the big problem I was having. The paint under the MC was non-existent and I'd leak out of fluid within a few days. I snagged a replacement from a junkyard booster and haven't had a problem yet. It took me maybe an hour to fix the whole shebang, and I even rebuilt the MC at the same time.
On my Vert, I did have leaky rear calipers, and I'd never see where the fluid was leaking out. Finally traced it down to my rears and replaced the calipers.
