Well I bought a turbo hood to replace my old Steel hood. My friend wanted the steel hood to practice making hood scoops on his n/a hood. So i gave it to him(Wicked Rotary) in him turning my head light cover into a head light cover scoop. He's a good guy!

If I knew fit mint was gonna be a slight issue, I would of moved it over to the right a little more, I had to cut into the frame of the head light in order to make it fit(I got greedy with the size)

Anyways...how much temperature drop should I expect from this little scoop? I think I saw like 140ish air intake temperature on my haltech on the highway. How much should I expect it drop with this little modification?

i dont think you'll see much of a diff because right behind your light you got a rubber that will block the air but if you remove the rubber peice you might notice a liitle bit of a temp drop

uh i think it's to cool the intake air so you don't have to make a real CAI... not cool the engine... and it's okay for that... but not as wonderful as making a REAL cai...

It will do virtually nothing without a lot of supporting modification.

You should invest time into creating a sealed piping setup like what I had offered long ago, aswell as CP and other TRUE CAI builders.

hm...now that I think about its not much help. I glanced under the hood again. My hot pipe from the IC is where it is right now. even if I moved my filter directly behind it and box it in; the heat from the pipes will go straight to the filter. thanks anyways.

your best bet is to cut a hole in the cood to vent out the hod air blown all in your bay by the fan.
