I have fuel, what else needed to start?
I Know I have fuel, I think I have spark, turns over plenty fast. What else do I absolutely have to have to get my car started. I have all of my hoses hooked up I believe. Do I need back pressure? I have the whole exhaust off except for the downpipe. Mind you, this is an 87 TII. Do I need an alternator to get it started or keep it running? The battery is hooked up to a booster. The only thing I really have left to do with this car is to get it started. What other crucial points do I need to look at to get it started? I am racking my brain on this one. And I have done the trick to unflood it.
How crucial are the wires and plugs? How do I check to see if the coils are working properly? And I know I am getting fuel, but no back fire, would that be no spark. And one more thing, what is the little single black connector coming off of my leading coils? Thanks a lot everyone who has answered and hopefully will answer, this is all I need to do.

Well 50-60 psi compression in the front rotor, and no compression in the back. I will trade my first gen plus the turbo motor for a good running TII motor. This motor has 40,000 miles on it.
