I hate to admit this...
I thought Midas or muffler shops in general refused to remove catalytic converters since its against the law?
Do what darkwaveboi says and try cutting off the cat so you have more room to work with. If you mess up the bolt from the turbo manifold, you can always re-stud it. Re-studding the 3 bolts wouldnt be a bad idea anyways.

Ooooops. My reading comprehension is in a world of hurt. I was thinking of another place, not where it attaches to the turbo. Someone must have crossthreaded it. I have no answer for that one.
maybe buy a couple of smaller sockets and slam one on there with a hammer (destroys the socket) the breaker bar it off, after letting it soak in some break-free or WD-40
i got lucky and all my bolts came off fine with a regular ratchet after letting each one soak in WD-40 for about 15min.
good luck

Ok, hum. That sucks bad man.
Like mentioned before get a propane torch and heat the bolt/stud and then the area around it. Kinda alternate.
That is to bad the bolt is done. However, you can weld a wrench that fits loosely around it. Just get a wrench and sacrafice it. Then get your breaker bar.
Can you get the car on a lift? That might help also.
Good luck. You said you do not wanna restud? Maybe you are thinking of something different. But putting in a new stud is stone simple.

two words for you.... easy out. those work great
.... or drill right through the bolt.....hopefully you wont kill the threads..... i had to do that to the thermostate housing....worked perfectly....although we busted one easy out....so we drilled in out..... now to fix the lugs on the rear tire

i had the same problem with the same bolt . you may have ruined the bolt all ready so try to get the socket on with a hammer if posable. should be 14mm like every one else has said. if that wont work you will have to pull the stud. it sounds like a bad idea but it is not that hard. just spray liquid wrench on it let sit place over the end of the stud and wined it down. may need two people to help torque it.
I have a problem with that exact same bolt.
It's weird... the stud on mine seems to be a tiny bit different thread pitch than the other two.
Nuts that will fit on the other two, won't fit on the top one.
Ya, that's a tight space too.... I'd say the best bet would be to use a dremel and cut the nut up. I've done that before, it works great, I didn't even damage the stud.

Well, I am a jackass. And Bambam, I bet I can solve your problem.
There is a piece of metal that bends down to lock the nut in place... We took a long screwdriver, bent it out of the way, and it took about 1 minute to get the bolt out.
The new exhaust is on, and it ******* rocks!!! I had no idea how awesome it would be... 800 bucks well spent.
