i got a guestion about the n/a rx-7?
hey wuz up, i just wanted to ask u guys if u think its worth hooking up a n/a, or just get a turbo II, cause mine is a 86 rx-7 n/a, and i have a hks hiper cat-back, racing beat headers, i got wires, filter, and i just wanted to know if its even worth hooking it up anymore, cause alot of people say that the n/a's ain't that fast, but mines is pretty fast, but i want a faster car, so what do u guys think i should do sell it and buy a turbo II or hook it up even more? thanx
Kinda depends on how much you wanna spend. If you feel like you pretty much well getting all that you can out of your N/A then go turbo. There is alot more potential in a T2 but it kinda up to you I guess.

Both, N/A dialy Driver, But can kick some Ricer *** in a pinch. And T2 for the weekends to blow away the V-8 Guys.
If want to go all N/A, get HUGE street port, T2 intermediate housings, PR sleeves, 3 Window bearing, Engine balancing. and a few other things i missing. Shoudl be good for 250hp or so, with 9k redline.
And if u decide u want Boost S/C it and run a 75 shot or so, i would expect a 400hp out of that.
Of course u would need more fuel with all that.

I have a 1990 GTU (NA), Took off the cat, straight pipe, apexi exhaust, polished 6 ports, swapped in a turbo II rear end (lsd) front end, tranny, driveshaft, got a bonez clutch, while the car aint super fast, its still pretty dam fast, The car is my daily driver and i love it, its missin that little bit of muscle the turbo has but a couple more mods and it wont be that bad. A NA is definetly worth hooking up, they can be made very fast, and like someone else said, once your engine blows, get the turbo engine and your all set. (Got my car with a 6,000 mile old 13b, couldnt bring myself to junk it so early).
