Too bad I cant have it. Found a 1987 rx7 tII in the bone yard. Rb turbo back sitting right there. Someone already took the engine/turbo/tranny but left everything behind the turbo. Also no fcd. SUCKS THOUGH! The junk yard will not sell exhaust parts! WTF is up with that? Im about to go there later tonight and just steal the f-ing thing.

 

Hey if they won't sell it I say go for it, but thats just me. The right thing to do would be go buy one somewhere else I guess, but I couldn't pass on that opportunity

tell them it's for your race car that will never be used on the street and they will probably sell it. I think it's ilegal to sell used exhuast parts to someone who will use them on the street.

 

Hmm...I never heard of junk yards not selling parts at all. I mean they are in the business to sell everything possible, just go take the damn thing.

 

i think the problem is this junk yard is like "top quality". It took a bit of finegaling for me to even walk back to check out this car. The place is high priced, and they have the new cars to show for it. This place is really by the book, not just an average shack with some guy putting cars together.

Monday I will try to convince them that what they have will be used for race purposes, Im sure the price will be high though.

 

Well, considering that "high" for a full exhaust in a junk yard will still be considerably less than $800 (new Turbo back RB) I would try. Good luck! I want one of those badly

 

Hey watch out for those pitbulls (watchdogs). If you try to steal the RB exaust make sure to bring some bones to luer the dogs out somewhere then go for the steal!!!..good luck.. I have that exaust and i love it alot!..
