timing chain
Yeah, the timing chains are the weak link on these cars!?! I know this for a fact because one time I called a tow truck for a dead battery and when the guy arrived he tried to start the 7 and told me that he thought it was the timing chain??? Little did he know that RX-7's are rotary powered and don't have timing chains...but I didn't bother to correct him (he's a lost cause)!

Once you've done a teardown, you'll see it. Look at the Series 4 Turbo Motor Rebuild on www.fc3s.org, the 4th picture shows it nicely. Now about that blinker fliud....

Cheeez. I read that post and went on to another post without realizing the significance of the post. Gotta learn how to read someday. Ears are turning red. Funny. So how much is the blinker fluid per ounce?? Pep Boys or J.C.Whitney? Is it true that its good on the dash too?

K-Mart has both the teflon covered muffler bearings and the cross-drilled brake lines on sale thru the holidays. Won't last long. The cross-drilled brake lines are actually the coveted Double cross-drilled brake lines. Personly I would not buy them. I understand come the first of the year the platinum plaid ones will be on sale for the same price. And you know how hard they have been to get lately.
