i dont know what to do

i haven't turned on my car in about 3 days. i turn it on today and let it warm up. i reved it up a little just to get it going. i turn it off, come back about ten minutes later and theres radiator fluid on the floor, and some oil dripping. what the f**k is going on. let me know any suggestions you got. im only 18(first rx7 ive had.) the radiator fluid stopped dripping right away, and the oil dripped for about 5 more minutes then stopped.

well sorry to sound ignorant but i would start by looking to see where leaks are coming from. this is an internet forum, we aren't psychics.

Sounds like you have some bad hoses somewhere and the reving up put too much stress on them.

There is only so much going on in an engine bay--so you should be able to locate the source of the drips pretty easily. Just start the car, look under the car to get a general idea of where the leaks are coming from and then start looking around in the engine-bay. Obviously the coolant and oil leaks are coming from different sources, but it still shouldn't be too hard to track 'em down.

If you still can't find 'em, you might want to jack up there car while it's running and climb under there with a flashlight to see if you can follow the path of the fluid to it's original source. Just make sure you don't get coolant or oil in your eye...

What model/year is your Rx7?

Start by checking your radiator hoses, upper and the lower. As well as the pair of heater hoses. For your oil issue, chekc yout oil cooler lines and for stupidity's sake chek the oil pan drain plug.
