I am totally out of ideas... I need help
I have replaced my water pump, my starter, my plugs, my wires and still NOTHING. My engine just cranks, i know im getting fuel beause i can smell it on the plugs, I know i am getting spark, and i know i am getting compression. The car just cranks and cranks. I have tried unflooding it by removing the fuse and running it, along with the fuel pump, and i also tried the spark plug dipped in oil trick. Still... Nothing. I am baffled as to what it could be. Maybe it is SEVEARLY flooded. I dont know. Can anyone help me?

I dont know. Maybe. The thing that gets me is the car was running STRONG like 4 days ago. No starting problem at all, and the fuel pressure was great. Then the car sat for 4 days while i waited for my water pump to come in the mail, then i installed it, then the starter went... now it wont start. I dont think it is fuel pressure, but i can check.

both my gxl and se flooded this weekend, after short runs. Pull the lower spark plugs and the egi comp fuse, crank it over for about 5-10 secs. Reinstall the plugs, crank it over another 5-10 secs. Then reinstall the egi fuse, and it should start. Works for me every time

when i changed my starter the positive has to make claen contact and being youre working under the car make sure you wipe the grease . hold the "+cable" while tightining the bolt but do not overtighten its plastic ( i learned the hard way and had to buy a new solenoid) if its how you say that it was running STRONG 4 days ago; 10 times 0ut of 10 its something foolish. gotta retrace your steps before you move to thinking that its something else(learned the hard way too). good luck!

1. Poor some oil into the engine via spark plug holes.
2. Clean out the plugs with wire brush and carb cleaner.
3. Crank the engine with plugs out after puting about 1oz of oil in both rotor chambers.
4. Spray some starter fluid into the engine via spark plug holes, and spark plugs.
5. Reinsert sparkplugs and try to turn it.
That usally works for me on a heavly flooded engine. And you should change your oil once its up and running as some gas might have seeped through your oil control rings making the oil very thin.
