ok..Welcome first of all...you have either a Bad sending unit or a bad Ground on the Sender.Which is Located IN the Gas Tank.Flip the Carpet up in the Hatch area..SEE that Circle of Screws on that Plate there in the Middle of the Hatch Floor?..There..In there. If you Take those screws off and Pull the Plate up,It will allow you to Get at the Fuel sender.Make sure the Battery IS DISCONNECTED,any Spark,,you can Kiss your Butt good bye..anyhow.That is a START..I am sure others will come in to help.Good luck.STYX.

Theyre saying the sender is not working anymore... or you have a bad ground in your car. If you've done hardly any changes to it then most likely you just need an new fuel sender....

"sender" is the fuel sensor in the fuel tank. Lower the fuel tank, replace the sender. Also check wires and connectors (plugs) between the fuel gauge and the sender. If the car ran rough after you ran out of gas then you might need to clean the fuel injectors.

I think his Spanish-English dictionary can translate that.
