HUGE intake decision.
ok ill lay it out for you guys. i had a turbo II motor i was gona drop into my RX but i decided to stay with my 13B. i want more power out of the engine so i was wanting to know if it would be BETTER to put an S5 UIM on it with the S4 LIM and TB or would it be better to put an '93 UIM on it with the S4 TB and S4 LIM. also will i need to do any modifications on either intake. i searched the archives and past threads but i can find no information on it. thanks in advance guys.

the upper and lower intakes won't match up between series without modification.
also, the flow characteristics of both s4 and s5 intake sets are supposedly more appropriate for the compression and engine characteristics of their respective years/series. i've heard it is a step backwards to do this mod, though i have s5 rotors in my s4 fed by s4 intake and the car still satisfies my expectations for performance.
besides, how would you operate the VDI in the s5 upper intake with an s4? if you want i have some s5 intake parts (most of the set, namely UIM and VDI stuff) that i would sell for cheap.
