whats the maximum safest hp i can expect to see on my stock turbo , its an s4 ratsnest gone tb modded no emissions all blockoff plates possible including omp rtek1.7 with stock prims and 780 secs and act hd pp wid 6 puck sprung clutch oh and e fan no ac almost forgot 3 in dp no cat to dual magnaflow two chambers sounds kinda lika a screaming banshee fourwheeler at 8 grand lol!!!!!!

 

It's not a question of how much you can safely push. It's a matter of how much the stock turbo can flow before it runs out of breath. Go to the dyno section to see some sheets.

 

how much boost are you running? I'm assuming you're using the stock top mount intercooler.

yes tmic for now and at 15 psi its a fire breathing dragon kinda throws efficiency out the window. let me rephrase the question whats the most hp anyone has made with stock turbo.wheel hpoh and i plan on running 12 psi

 

15 psi is way out of the range of that turbo and intercooler.



keep it at 12 for both and your fine. throw in some meth injectionand youll eek some more hp from the setup.

 

yea im detuning my engine cuz of my t04b comp wheel has chipped fins and needs a nu one but im trying to find out if i can get a different trim wheel to replace the original one to get more power out of it if not prolly gonna saveup and get a gt35r or something of that nature just curious as to what kind of power to tell people im makin when they get smoked at the track lol!!!

 

I was getting 230rwhp out of my stock turbo. Hadnt ported the wastegate or anything like that though, and the fuel system was also stock.

 

I think the records around 250-260.

 

yeah im thinking if id upgraded my injectors and ported the wastegate i coulda gotten more out of it, but i just brought a new turbo

 

We're running around 280rwhp with the knightsports hybrid, at 0.8bar, close to the limit of stock fuel system, ported wastegate, RB exhaust, stock S5 intercooler

 

my car makes 273rwhp on a stock s5 turbo.

 

let's seem some proof on all these assumptions.
