Well, I finally got around to installing the mech sender for my water temp. The sensor is located in the thermostat housing where the AC fan temp sensor used to be.
The radiator is 28x19x3, is dual pass with both the inlet and outlet on the pass side. I have a black magic fan cooling it down.
It takes about 5 mins of driving to have the temp gauge come up off of 120 deg. This is due to the thermostat still being closed. Once it begins to open, the temp climbs to 160 and holds for awhile. Sitting in traffic, the temps will come up to 175-180, with the fan set to come on at 190. Once on the highway it'll run 170 deg up to 180 on a hill climb.
This is exactly the kind of cooling power I'm looking for once I get my FMIC installed. Plus I'd much rather have over-cooling than over heating. Hell, I don't think I really even need the fan

What kinda $$$ did you shell out to get that radiator? And how exactly is a double pass radiator configured differently than a stock one that it cools so much better? Or is it the increased capacity that helps with temps? Sorry....I never thought about my radiator too much more than putting an efan in my car and making sure that my temps are nice and low.

The stock radiator flows top to bottom, has aluminum fins but plastic endtanks. Going off the top of my head, the dimensions are ~ 24x19x1.5".
The double pass has the collant make a < . It has to go across the fins in the upper half (divided) to the other end tank and then go across again in the lower half. Plus the increase in cooling capacity, surface area and total volume. Ambient temps yesterday were in the 60's...so I'm sure it'll run a little hotter once we get into the 80's and 90's.

Oh yeah, I paid 269.00 for it from summit racing. I had a radiator shop weld on some brackets to mount to the frame rails (with rubber spacers to allow for flexing) and a return nipple for the heater core all for about $10.00. Here's some pics of how I mounted it.
