How to tell Turbo / NA diff without the casing

I have a LSD sitting in my garage and I'm trying to figure out if its NA or Turbo. I've seen lots of information about how to identify them, but they all rely on the casing. I know the Turbo is 8" while the NA is 7", but what do I measure? There is no ring gear on it, and the outside of the flange where the ring gear mounts is ~7". So is that NA, or is is Turbo because its measured at the outside of the ring gear?

If it still has bearings on it, the NA part no. will be 32008X ...... the T2 brgs are different

The NA pinion flange is different from the AT and TII pinion flanges. So, if your NA drive shaft doesn't match up, than it's most likely a TII differential.

It's just the bare differential, no casing, etc. I think it still has bearings, though. I'll check to see if I can find a part number.

You mean it's just the "carrier" or as Mazda calls it the "case". Wasn't clear to me in your original post. Here are the Mazda p/n's for the carrier side bearings for non-turbo 0221-27-350 and turbo 0118-27-350A. You should be able to find bearing dimensions by either Googling the p/n's or calling a bearing shop like Timkin.
