How sensitive are rotaries to exhaust leaks?

OK. I my turboII has 3 seperate exhaust leaks.

1. turbo/downpipe
2. before resonator
3. after resonator.

my car SUX at low end now. are rotaries really that sensitive to exhaust leaks?

I guess my o2 sensor doesnt get a 100% clean reading since it leaks before the turbo/downpipe gasket.

O2 sensor only matters when you are cruising, not when you are dropping the hammer.

And I had an open O2 sensor bung (for my wideband) and the car was noticeably laggy. Fix your leaks.

yea i had the same question but kind of different. one of my friend who used to own a rx7 said rotary motors are very sensitive when modd(intake, exhaust, and etc) and have to be tuned. is it true?

^^ one of the biggest problems with an rx-7 (2nd or 3rd gen) is boost creep when you open up the exhaust, so yeah you can go kablooie if you're not careful
