How restrictive is the stock ex. manifold?

I thought the chip had refined fuel maps, and such? hmm Another thing I can atest to having an increase in performance is that before the rtek I had no fcd so I was not able to really push the car at all because of fuel cut. I do have other mods though, I have a full 3 inch racing beat turbo back exhaust, ported wastegate (seeing about 9-10psi through 1st and 2nd, and 12 or so in the above gears) Walbro fuel pump, 3 inch TID, No emisions, throttle body mod, I think that's it but could be missing something. after finally porting the wastegate getting the rtek and putting on this manifold I'm finally able to really push the car a little bit. I could have swore that the rtek offered a little bit of an increase in performance, hmmm maybe I'm wrong. I did notice that the whole manifold will glow, before the turbo would often glow, but the manifold wouldn't, now with the ssac unit the whole thing glows .. crazy. looks pretty cool though.

nope, the chip is more of a safeguard to protect the motor, the fuel maps are untouched.
the only performance gain is a slightly broader powerband as the secondary staging is moved down to 3500 RPMs from 3680.
