thought i would bump this up for the newbies...also would this work on the factory foglights? or is it better to just purchase new ones?

No. I just bought new series V turn signal lenses thru the dealer for 17.00 ea. (they ARE clear)

When we put up one of my old ones over my friend's series IV lens the S4 looks shorter and taller. Also, the S5 lenses have a curve on one corner.

Good post, I never would have known these were available - now it ties in nicely with my D-Speed clear side lenses.

Hmmmm... something that one of you might try... I haven't done this on LENSES, but I have done it on other clear plastic items... worked great on them. Note: the substance I did this to was LEXAN, dunno what the lenses are made from.

I have used a propane torch to "flow out" scratches and return clear lexan to new appearance. You have to be very careful to not overdo it though. So, if you were to sand the yellowing/deep scratches with a medium sandpaper, you could then use a torch to complete it.

I'm doing all of my lenses in black, so that will be different.

Derek, I did this too...I'm really Impressed how they came out. No more white glaze on the Lenses. You'd swear they were brand new looking.

The FTP lenses open up just like the tail lights.
They are assembled with hot-melt glue.

I just got lazy and bought new FTPs and lenses.. faster than sitting around wondering how to restore them and actually do the work.. time is money too.

the S4 cars have yellow/orange lenses stock. I'm not sure about fitting the S5 lenses on S4.

if you guys are really bored like i was about a year ago. i had a spare set of Ftp Lenses sitting around. SO i took off my orange front blinker lense, traced it onto the Ftp, and than did a little cutting/fitting. Turned out great. installed some Nice 'blue/ultra white bulbs and i think it looks great, i will post a pic when i get home from work. around 2:30 or so.
