how to restore used suspension

I have recently purchased a used set of tokico blue and eibach springs for my TII. Before I replace them with my stock suspension I have a few questions.

1. where can I buy new strut boots? Do they have to be specific to the strut? Or can i pick up something from the local auto store?

2. is there anything i should do to clean the strut, as i dont know how they were treated by the previous owner.

3. anything else i should do to restore this used suspension set?

1.Black Dragon Automotive
2.No so long as the strut shaft isn't marred and no oil is pissing out of the cylinder
3. make sure none of the shocks are blown

I would assume the KYB boots should work as the strut bodies should be the same. At least I hope so, as I'm going to need some for my KOnis and all I can find are KYB boots.

I'm restoring my suspension with about $1000. New Koni yellow f/r and Tein pillow mounts. I made the mistake of swapping in the shocks from my parts car with some suspension techniques prings to lower my FC. I soon found the struts are all crap. They grab on tights turns and bound like a pogo stick Koni is the cure.
