oil seals run 15W 40 (deisel oil) for 1000 mi then change oil to 20w50 racing oil and add half a quart of MMO (marvel mystery oil) to engine oil. this will help within a couple k miles. when i got my 86 it smoked like a mother f*cker, i did this, and now it just puffs at 6k+ when i shift.
