As far as I know, they are aftermarket products.

How rare? As rare as a 20B skateboard.
Aftermarket notice the screws and ruff finish, the job needs a little more detail. HIDE THEM SCREWS!!!!!!

Mazda never made glass sunroofs. Mazda dealers did re-sell sunroofs made by Pacific that were glass.

That sunroof in the pictures is not glass - it's acrylic. There are 2 of 'em in Pensacola - I can't remember the name of the manufacturer. They're not made any more, and are VERY rare.

The only problem with the acrylic sunroofs is they're not as durable as glass - Jay's already has a crack in it. The interior trim also warps over time with the heat - it doesn't handle thermal expansion well.

There was a 88 N/A for sale at a dealership right down the road from me, which had a electric sliding glass sunroof. It looked factory, was really really nice.It didnt look like that one, it was much nicer. I wouldnt mind having one.

The glass part is an aftermarket replacement for the stock metal panel.

There were two versions produced:
1. Saratoga tops, Saratoga New York ( Company has moved and lost track of the extrusion molds)
2. ASC/ Pacific T-Tops, since gone out of business.

Going price right now is 350-600 dollars depending on the buyer. I just sold one with the GXL I sent to Canada

I saw one one time parked at an apartment complex. It looked aftermarket though. It poped out from the roof a little bit, didn't look very clean.
