how to or pics on installing manual boost controller on 89. Need help
I just recieved my manual boost controller for my 89TII, not to really raise the boost to much, but In the hopes of preventing spiking.....Im getting a quick spike in 4th and 5th of 12psi...not that Im being ****...a good manaul boost controller isnt that spendy....
Im just curious how to install it....I can see the hose that is about 3" long and goes from the wastegate right to another metal hose sticking out of the turbo...do i just put the controller in place of that little hose....or where??? pictures would be Great if anyone has them...

Haven't we ALL heard this
Yep, basicly you have one vac line that runs from the compressor side to the boost controler. Than the second line runs from the boost controler to the wastegate accuator. You have to leave the factory electric boost controler in or you will get a check engine light.
I have a '91 TII and and playing with the boost controler. I have just started to get into boost. So not sure where to set it. Worried about a spike or something.
Tell me how it goes.

you also need to block off the bigger hole in the TID that goes to the stock controller. I asume it's a ball and spring one? then yes it just replaces the short one from the turbo outlet to the wastegate. just take the TID off and it's easy to see.
