How Much Will They Stick Out!

I just orderd some AME SHALLEN CX 3 piece rims for my 7. My question is how far will these rims stick out from the stock body of the fc?

I am molding the cork sport over fenders onto my fc and they stick out lil bit more than 1 inch in the front and 1 inch exactly in the rear.

I cannot test fit the rimz cuz i wont get em till the end of april and i wanna finish my body work asap so i can drive my beast!

18x9 +16 front
18x10 +10 rear

the fronts

the rears

Nice man, very nice. But I do have 1 question. Has anyone else noticed the same box of Marlboro's in other pictures? Or am I just being paranoid....

man tooshort your in the same boat as I am, i also have corksport fronts but i plan on pulling the fender outwards more to give the mounting position of the flare a wider sit to fit 18x9 +20. But atleast your already undergoing body work, i never have time to do anything for my car these days.

apparently marlboro menthol 100's are the standard for measuring lip depth.

well your new wheels when compaired with Stock T2 rims if i calculated correctly.
the rear will stick outwards 2.68" more than stock rims..
then fronts will stick out 1.94" more than stock...
in comparison my 17" rims with a 225/45/17 8" +47 with a 1inch spacer. puts me 1.22" farther out than stock. and it rubs on the lip of my oem fender. i rolled the lip up somewhat and it only hits sometimes if i go over a crazy bump going fast.

it looks like the rear shouldshould fit under there fine with the overfender.
but as for the front its cutting it pretty close may might rub.... if you have adjustable camber plates it may help if u camber them slightly. as i do not and that is probably why i scrape sometimes.
tire width will also play a big role. so if u get a narrow tire and a slight stretch it should give it more room.

With the stock body...forget about it. 9" +16 just isnt going to work. With the 30mm overfenders its a different story. The rears...thats going to be quite a stretch. I have 7.5" 8.5" +30 and the fronts are dead flush...the rear hasn't got much room to play either.

I was just asking how much they gonna stick out cuz i can build em up wider if i need too. My main concern is the fitment because i plan to finish body work by tomorrow and i will need to build em up enuf that they will be flush with 18x9 +16 frnt 18x10 +10 rear... or worse case if they too wide i can get spacers to make em flush.....

started at 11:am and just got done for today at 2:00 am
I really like the overfenders so i just made a mold out of fiberglass so i can make another set for my vert!

had to cut the oem fender this took some time, had to grind it all smooth afterwards....

resin finally dry test fit em on, then start molding em in.....

Also shaved all body lines, even the rear bumper , (that was a pain)

omg, i can't believe you molded the front bumper to the fender, to the side skirt, to the rear 1/4 panel, to the rear bumper!

once you hit ANYTHING, you're going to **** ALL of it up! hahaha

good luck!

So wen u guys say preety flush .. DO you mean they gna stick out , or they gna be tucked in .. i really gotta build up my kit right for the rims i bought to be flush...
id rather my kit be too wide and then i could toss a spacer in to make it flush..

It really depends on your tire size. What are you planning to run? I'd check out the wheel/tire specs thread in the 2nd pictures section for a little more reference.
