All I needed was approx 3 ft. Just to run from the pressure sensor to the intake manifold. But then again I replaced all my rubber hosing with silicone tubing, so it ended up being quite a bit more.......... But 3 ft is all you should need at the most, to get the car back on the road.

Its more of a question how many damn vacuum caps you need. If you find anywhere that sells them in a more bulk package let me know. I can only find stupid *** packs that have like 10 dif sizes. 2 caps in each box I can even use.... waste of ******* money when they are like 5$/box.

I would say atleast 5 feet of 4mm. maybe more like 10.

you need it for boost sensor, BOV, oil injector vac lines. FPR line, line between secondary injectors. and a couple more I think.

also depending on what you are doing with the oil fill vent line, and charcoal chanister. you'll need some of the 6mm. I'll need around 5 feet.

I'm riping my rack off next week. here's my plan. I'm just unsure which lines go where on the back of the upper intake. I'll find out when I pull it apart

Scott you positive thats gonna work?

Cause I'm thinking of doing the same thing, and I'm looking for a schematic to go by. I here the FPR needs to go to the bottom nipple on the UIM, which would entail the TB mod. The others I'm unsure of.

How are you going to determine which line needs to go where to make it work?

well when you pull the intake off. you will be able to see which nipples connect before or after the TB's. (well with the TB off you will.. mine will be) after the TB means it gets vacum. which is needed for the FPR. I have no idea how many of the nipples get vac or not...

basicly when you take it apart. the lines will go back to where they where before. the other lines besides the fpr don't go to the rack. so they will stay the exact same.

The fuel lines are part of the rats nest also. They go from hard lines to soft lines back to hard lines and once again soft lines that connect to the fuel rail.
When you eliminate the rests nest you run a soft line from the fuel filter to the rail and another from the hard return line to the rail.
Not sure how much sense this makes right now but when you take out the nest it will be obvious what needs to be done.

5/16 Fuel Line should be sufficient to clear the metal lines removal. I got Good Year FL from Canadian Tire.

What are you guys doing with the Solenoid Harness Clips? Cutting them and tieing off the ends?

no he has an oil catch can and the vacume line goes from the charcoal canister, to the pressure sensor, and then to the oil catch can! but it doesn't matter! ed to know if the Vibrant package will be enough!

umm im not sure jreynish ive never heard of the oil catch can but im not a guru or anything just your average joe. it looks to me from his diagram that the oil from the filler vent will be ran through the charcoal canister and redeposited in the gas tank...that isnt right is it?? i thought charcoal was only for gas fumes or something like that im a noob dont flame!!!

jreynish,

its not that much... its enough to do 2 cars worth if you keep stock configurations.

the color is black... i would be happy to sell you some but hte cost will be exactly the same as if you ordered from mc master carr

the downside is that i'm not at my parent place which is 3 horus away and i'm busy with school... if you can wait until end of april then sure i'll ship you some.
