How much for a NEW (not reman) motor?

Topic says it. Im not considering it, i was just curious how much for ever peice in the motor to be brand *** new (im guessing it would have to be shipped straight from japan together). Thanks guys

You can buy everything you need from mazdatrix. Expect it to cost ~4k. I dont believe mazda makes 13b's anymore, they were discontinued with the rx7?

Wow, thats alot. But about what i expected. I was just curious. So what, they still make the parts but just dont assemble them anymore (japan)?

Rotor Housings generally are new in a re-man motor, but most front and rear covers are not

but Mazda still makes the housings, irons, rotors (new ofcourse)?

They have to support any car they make with parts for a minimum of 10 years after the end of production.

The guy who owned my car before me payed 3000 for his reman. (I have recipt roy if you want to see it!)

4150 + tax was how much my new engine came from mazda 3 years ago. I have the receipt somewehre, it was put in there by the previous owner

between mazda, mazdatrix, and mazdacomp. you can certaintly make a "brand new" motor. but I'd expect $4-5k in parts.
