Whats the HP and TQ rating for a stock 1988 T2 10th anniversary and if anyone possibly knows the 1/4 ET. And for ***** and giggles if you take out the power steering, add a street port job and a racing beat full exhaust about how much more power would that make?

 

182hp rotary makes poop for torque. 14.8 stock 1/4. p/s 1 hp it depends who does the port work and what they use to port it. rb says some crazy number like +50hp

 

How about for ***** and giggles you go read the FAQ stickies and search?

stock 88T2 is 182hp and stock 1/4 mile for the S4 T2 is like a low 15...a high 14 w/ a good driver...depends on what size streetport you get...but a full turboback exuaust and streetport, and p/s removal could get you another 40-50hp, b/c it will up ur boost (the exhaust will)...but make sure to do the necessary fuel mods to compensate for the extra power...

 

thanx alot . i was just wondering cause my friend has this particular car and i raced it last night against an rsx. it was even a type s but i got beat by about 2 and 1/2 cars . the guy driving the rsx was shady as hell about his car and it was louder than the T2 so im tryin to figure what the hell this kid had.. probably sprayed but whatever. thanx again

 

stock for stock a T2 will beat even a Type-S RSX...to get beat by 2 1/2 cars either A). You need to work on your driving B). The RSX had some pretty serious mods or C). The T2 is not running correctly....

 

lol the driving is fine . i have a 93 TT myself but the fc did have a tiny boost leak .. it would like spike to about 9 then drop to an even 5psi and yeah that rsx wouldnt let us look in the car or under the hood
