i've read somewhere that they both run the 1/4 mile in 15.1 seconds but i think the 89-91 does it in 15.0 and the 87-88 does it in 15.3 . these may not be exact times but im pretty sure they are close .

I DUNNO WHAT LI IS SMOKING!
Some things in that list are totally innacurate.. like a '94 touring running a 6.0 0-60 time!!! *tsk tsk tsk (it's supposed to be 4.9)
Or that MY year car would run a 8.6 / 16.7, when its really 7.6 / 16.0!! (STOCK)
'87-88 TII was 6.7 / 15.3
'89-91 TII was 6.5 / 15.1 (but i've heard as low as 6.3 from expert drivers)
I got the info from this site, very accurate

Although the 89 Turbo II got lighter rotors, higher compression, a better turbo and 18 MORE HP...they made it heavier! So performance differences isn't that much BETTER. I would figure the 89 Turbo II should have a BETTER high end, kill the 88 TII on the highway STOCK TO STOCK. The 88 will be way cheaper to buy but you GAIN so much more in a 89, better looks and a way nicer TURBO!
