fair price to a real rotary enthusiast:$3500-$4000

price to some dumbass kid that will prolly wrap it around a tree within a week or two: $5000-$6000.

sell it on this forum or any other rx7 forum. Cash only, no checks.

if the words DRIFT, drft, dori, dorifto, sideways, slideways etc etc. appears in the name or description then you must add the mandatory $700 drift penalty.

Anyone uder the age of 27 will also receive a $500 penalty.

i believe that's fair.

I agree.

The penalty doubles if the catchphrase "JDM" is paired with the above.

Agreed with Saten, too little info.

Is everything is really mint?

Any smoke on startup? Any issues with the turbo? Does the transmission shift properly, or does it ever grind?

Does the car come with documented maintenance history?

What's the color combination? (Substantial price penalty for anything with the "Bordello Red" interior.)

Is the interior really mint? Is all electric stuff working properly (wipers, antenna, sunroof, cruise control)?

I think if the car is really nice, you might get $5000 for it even from a knowledgeable enthusiast. Unmolested lower mileage TIIs are getting pretty hard to come by, especially on the East Coast. It will be tough to get anyone on this forum to pay that kind of money for it though as we're famously cheap.

Might try an ad on www.autotrader.com, or kbb.com/cars.com. You see more "high dollar" collector-grade RX-7s there, I think.
