Just wanted to add a few pics to this thread. I ended up chopping up what I think was an intake bracket to mount the cable. I did have to shorten the cable a little.

I'm building "sumethin" up and I need suggestions on maybe customizing a cable to fit.

I ended up using one of these, but didn't use the screw. I drilled the hole bigger to fit the cable through, crimped the backside of it and soldered the crap out of it.

If you dont want to mess with your throttle body and want a shorter cable You can use a Fd cable, new they are cheaper than TII cables and anyone parting a FD out will have one.

I just replaced my throttle cable and wanted to add to this: if you do it the way RRTEC showed by mounting the bracket near the clutch slave line, you do not have to shorten the cable.
