How many TII are in Hawaii?

I just wanted to see how many TII owners are from Hawaii. They are a dying breed here.

Get out of there...the cars are all too slow for a decent race.

Not that I want to race them.
Just curious how many are here. The guy from North Shore blew his motor.

I'm after that frickin green Talon who lit up his tires at the corner of Kalihi St and Nimitz after he passed me. Then , I saw him in the morning and did a fly by.
Did you get my e-mail i sent a few minutes ago?

Thanks, I got it.

Mods? Nothing fancy...just the usual "go fast" goodies.
I haven't seen that car before. By any chance was Richard Chun the previous owner?

Well, for one, there isn't a single shop that can work on them ...not 1.
So, guys who blow their motor is **** out of luck or learn to build it yourself like I do. All the RX7 mechanics are out of Mazda shops or retired. You cannot take an RX7 FC or FD and expect them to work on it without using it as a donor car. You go in with one problem and come out with a **** load of other problems.
No Ted and I, we take care of our cars.

Just got a 91 vert. engine rebjuilt (?) for previous owner by a certain three letter shop (which you cant find in phone book)...what a sloppy job! Not impressed. Front port actcuator hose not connected, a mistery wire not connected (left side single blue connection ?), wire harness jammed into tight places, hangers not reinstalled, front plastic no clips, engine belly pan missing bolts, oil leaking from ?, O2 wire re-done in smaller gage...but the "mechanic" was highly recommended by previous owner...

Must've been his friend. I know that shop well and so does Ted among others who once been there unknowingly. If I knew you before, I'd tell you to burn your car before taking it to that shop. I've seen them work on cars. One mechanic was working on an FD and he had the upper intake off. As he was trying to diagnose the problem he was smoking a cigar and flicking the ashes into the intake ports.
Well, that shop is no more as it has been raided by the police not too long ago.
I'd say buy a shop manual (not Haynes) and learn about the car. Very rewarding. Stay away from the dealer as they will ream you a new *******. They have NO idea what to do with a rotary. One FD owner went in to a dealer and came out with all sorts of problems and they wouldn't admit it was their fault. I think he was taking legal action.
What color is the car? I may have seen you . I saw a white and a red vert. 89-91 model.

I'm from GUAM :P hehe sort of neighbors to you all over there in hawaii, honolulu. if i recall correctly there was a shop i visited there called KMA(KissMyAss) Racing. is that the 3 letter shop you guys are speaking of that screws up RX-7's? i saw a few TII they were working on that were souped up, i believe they were owned by the owner or one of the workers in that shop...they were selling one of them. dont know bout the quality of their work but that was way back in 91 or 92 if i recall correctly. i have a lot of friends in hawaii and frequent there often but i havent really had time to look around for fellow RX-7 enthusiasts/owners.

I'm not sure since Ted left, Richard C sold his car and other than some "internal" problems, I have no idea.
Ted just caused havoc when he was here like burning out in front of a whole bunch of Integras and Hondas at Kaimuki Chevron and all of them chasing him and others on the freeway. Damn, that's the night I stayed home too.

There was one person with a 89? vert with an Apexi exhaust. I looked at him to give him a waive but he looked at me like "whaaaaaat" .

I painted it again. I also want to paint it again this summer. Maybe after I paint it again next summer I will start to push it around my driveway every 2 days to make it look like it moves.

Then I'll paint it again.
