Well I still have my power steering but my AC is disabled. I don't mind cracking the window down anyway because mine are power.

I have both my PS and AC disabled and removed. I enjoy the modifications. And if you do remove your AC pump, it frees up space, engine rpm, current draw from the alt, and if you remove teh ac condenser you can notice teh increase in cooling the stock radiator and fan provide now that it doesnt have to suck through that thick POS.

My TII has a manual rack and I love it! I wouldn't give up my AC for anything. It's never gotten in my way and my Koyo and stock fan keep my water temps in check even down here in the summer.

Mine has no A/C, it was disabled when I bought the car, not sure if it works. I am thinking of hooking it back up again. Being stuck in traffic in the dead of summer is really not a whole lot of fun behind a burning hot engine bay....then again, A/C is not good for the engine in that case either. Still, I can't say I wouldn't like to have the option.

I nd my a/c. Even though I don't use it much, which is kinda pointless in having a/c. I could do without the power steering but since it works why ruin a good thing.

I removed teh AC and PS because I am always working on teh car and it will never be a daily driver again. The extra space is great because it makes changing plugs about a five minute affair.

The condesnor being gone is nice since I have a greddy fmic. It helps with the temps.

Not having AC kinda sucks where I live because it is over 100 everyday in the summer. I have to admit my ball bag is about fall of I get so hot. However, its ok....

i removed em both and love it. Not because of the "sports car feel" but rather the sumplicity of 1 belt and a clear engine bay.

And like wankel said, its not a daily driver, so i figure i can deal with it every once in a while.

Thanks guys this is gonna help me out alot in the future. Now if you guys were smart enough and could put together all of the treads I am starting I think you will figure out just what I have in mind for the 88 GTU shell that is just taking up spacing in my driveway. OHHHHHHH think of the possibilites.

I'm considering taking mine out. No wait, I'm gonna take mine out.

The A/C doesn't work so I just cut the belt out until I can get around to pulling everything out and the P/S pisses me off whenever I try to change the oil filter or spark plugs. I can't wait to yank all that crap outta there! I haven't ever owned a car with A/C and this is the first one with P/S and I can't stand it!

Yanking it all out sometime.

I have it, but am gona remove it. I have heard that I should try disabled powersteering instead of switching to a manual steering rack.

My a/c didn't work in the first place (you have to hold the button in for it to work) and I'm gona remove it soon. I live where it's 50-60 at any given time during the year... and if it's ever a nice day... the top comes down =p

It's not all that bad. The only thing it is good for is dry steering and ruining your tires. I used to drive a '66 Mustang w/o P/S. Now that is a pain. In the 7 it is quite nice.

I've only driven my friends 1980's VW rabbit GTI with no power steering. When I first drove it I was like "**** it's not turning" lol. But after a while you get used to it....and then you drive your PS car again and it feels weird
