This thread would seem to suggest we have some pretty reliable machines here. Not many sports cars can claim this sort of record.

He asked about the Chassis not the engine. I would expect all JAP sports car to do the same or better.

I dug it out of the back of a yard and put a fuel pump and new fuel in it and it cranked right up.

Looks like I claim the record among those posting. Had 315,400 on my '90 GTU bought new in '90. Replaced engine at @ 215,000. Retired her 2001 to a peaceful junk in 2001 yard due to Michigan winter salt. Bought a second '90 a GXL now at 114,700 and almost immaculate.
